Spring Into Fun Weekends - May @ Star Cider
Shake off the winter blues at Spring Family Fun Weekends at the cidery, happening Fridays through Sundays from 12–8 PM on May 8–10, with live music, seasonal food and drinks, and activities for all ages. Each weekend features family-friendly fun like games, slushies, chalk art, craft stations, trivia, and rotating special events including seed starting, puzzle competitions, and a Mother’s Day Brunch.
FLX Trivia Star Wars Night - May 7 @ Canandaigua Wegmans
FLX Trivia is bringing a special Star Wars Trivia Night to Wegmans Market Café in Canandaigua with questions spanning the entire galaxy, from iconic films to animated series, characters, ships, and unforgettable moments. Fans can gather a team for an evening of themed trivia, prizes, food, and plenty of fun whether they are casual viewers or true lore masters.
Boat Show - May 8 @ The Lake House
Experience an on-the-water boat show at The Lake House on Canandaigua, where visitors can explore a variety of beautifully designed boats both in the water and on land. Guests can step aboard select models for test drives and learn more about Carefree Boat Club for a hassle-free way to enjoy the boating season.
Quartz Fest Gem, Mineral Fossil & Jewelry Show - May 9 & 10 @ Canandaigua Civic Center
Experience a wide selection of crystals, fossils, handcrafted jewelry, wire wrapping, geode breaking, and more from vendors across the region. Known as one of the Finger Lakes’ favorite gem shows, the event offers a fun shopping experience for collectors, hobbyists, and families alike.
Mother’s Day Brunch - May 10 @ Hotel Canandaigua

Mother’s Day Special at Sonnenberg - May 10 @ Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a relaxing visit to the gardens and a beautiful day in the park! Moms receive special $5 admission during the event, while regular park admission applies to all other guests, with tickets available for purchase at the admissions booth.
Rain Barrel Workshop - May 12 @ Star Cider
Learn about stormwater management and the benefits of using rain barrels at home during this hands-on workshop presented by the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association and the Ontario County Soil & Water Conservation District. Participants will receive a 55-gallon rain barrel with registration and discover simple ways to conserve water, reduce runoff, and support the local environment.
Certified Angus Beef Bash - May 31 @ Hotel Canandaigua
Kick off the season with a lakeside BBQ celebration featuring chef-carved Certified Angus Beef® tastings, classic cookout fare, beverage samplings, and live music by Claudia Hoyser. Proceeds benefit The Spot, a locally based non profit dedicated to improving the lives of local children by providing free access to food, school supplies, clothing, and more!
