On North Main Street in Canandaigua, Canandaigua Churches In Action has brought together thirteen area churches to form a unified community. This collective effort, which began in 2005, aims to address the spiritual and physical needs of local families. The organization is driven by a mission to provide direct services, advocacy, and education, with a focus on treating everyone with love, respect, and compassion. As a result, Canandaigua Churches in Action has become a significant presence in the community, working to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

The member churches, including Crosswinds Wesleyan, First United Methodist Church, and St. Mary's, among others, come together to support this mission.
